Itinerary

 

Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu

·       Alt: 1,350m.

·       At Kathmandu International Airport, you will be met representative and transferred to your hotel. There will be a full tour briefing in the evening.

 

 

Day 2: Kathmandu to Chame (Approx. 10 hrs)

 

·       Distance: 242 km

·       Starting Point: Kathmandu

·       Destination: Chame (2,610m /8,890ft)

 

Highlights:

·       Beautiful drive from Katmandu to Chame via Besisahar

·       Views of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna peaks.

·       Passing by a small hot spring for a refreshing break.

 

 

Day 3: Chame to Upper Pisang (approx. 5-6 hrs)

·       Trek Distance: 13.2km / 8.2 miles

·       Starting Point: Chame (2,610m / 8,890ft)

·       Destination: Upper Pisang (3,300m / 10,826ft)

 

Highlights:

·       First view of Paungda Danda Rock.

·       Stunning vistas of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak.

·       Descending into the Pisang village.

·       Experiencing the local culture and traditions.

 

 

Day 4: Pisang to Manang (approx. 6-8 hrs

·       Trek Distance: 17km / 10.6 miles

·       Starting Point: Pisang (3,115m / 10,200ft)

·       Destination: Manang (3,540m / 11,300ft)

 

Highlights:

·       Spectacular views of Annapurna range.

·       Trekking through Tibetan settlements.

·       Visit to the Barge Monastery.

·       Exploring the bustling Manang bazaar.

 

 

Day 5: Acclimatization Day at Manang (approx. 7 hrs)

·       Activity: Exploration of Manang village, Gangapurna & Ice Lakes visit, Himalayan Rescue Association briefing

 

 

Day 6: Manang to Yak Kharka (approx. 5-6 hrs)

·       Trek Distance: 9.4km / 5.8 miles

·       Starting Point: Manang (3,540m / 11,300ft)

·       Destination: Yak Kharka (4,050m / 14,275ft)

 

Highlights:

·       Trekking through pastures and juniper forests.

·       Experiencing yak and horse pastures.

·       Passing through traditional Tibetan settlements.

·       Enjoying the serene ambiance of Yak Kharka.

 

Day 7: Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (approx. 7-8 hrs)

·       Trek Distance: 8.5km / 5.2 miles

·       Starting Point: Yak Kharka (4,050m / 14,275ft)

·       Destination: Thorong Phedi (4,525m / 14,525ft)

 

Highlights:

·       Crossing Marsyangdi river.

·       Trekking through rugged terrain.

·       Witnessing the surrounding peaks.

·       Reaching the foot of Thorong La Pass.

 

Day 8: Thorong Phedi to Muktinath via Thorong La Pass (approx. 8-9 hrs)

·       Trek Distance: 15.6km / 9.6 miles

·       Starting Point: Thorong Phedi (4,525m / 14,525ft)

·       Destination: Muktinath Temple (3,760m / 12,623ft) via Thorong La Pass (5,416m / 17,756ft)

 

Highlights:

·       Challenging trek over Thorong La Pass.

·       Panoramic Himalayan views.

·       Visiting the sacred Muktinath Temple.

·       Exploring the 108 stone sprouts.

 

 

Day 9: Muktinath to Tatopani (approx. 6 hrs Drive)

·       Starting Point: Muktinath (3,760m / 12,623ft)

·       Destination: Tatopani (1,200m / 3,940ft)

 

Highlights:

·       Scenic drive through deep gorges.

·       Transition from highlands to lush forests.

·       Arrival at Tatopani famous for natural hot springs.

·       Opportunity to relax and rejuvenate in the hot springs.

 

 

Day 10: Tatopani to Pokhara (approx. 7-8 hrs drive)

·       Distance: 48 km

·       Starting Point: Tatopani (1,200m / 3,940ft)

·       Destination: Ghorepani (2,860m / 9,385ft)

 

Highlights:

·       Trekking through Thakali villages.

·       Passing terraced farmlands.

·       Walking through lush rhododendron forests.

·       Arriving at Ghorepani, a beautiful village atop a ridge.

 

 

Day 11: Rest Day in Pokhara

·       Spend a lazy chilled day in Pokhara

 

 

Day 12: Fly Back to Kathmandu

·       30 min Scenic flight

 

Highlights:

·       Arrival back in Kathmandu, concluding the trekking journey

 

Day 13: End of Tour/ Departure
